                      Luggage

                      Although there is no weight limit for your luggage on Eurostar trains, you must be able to carry and lift your luggage safely. Each bag must be a maximum of 85 cm in length and must be clearly labelled.

                      There is also no restriction on liquids. However, there are some restrictions on alcohol: 4 bottles/cans of beer are allowed per person. person; no large bottles of liquor are allowed. If you are traveling with large amounts of alcohol, you should contact a courier service.

                      Food and drink

                      • In Standard class, you can choose from a wide variety of snacks and drinks in the Café Métropole bar on board; this is located in the middle of your train and accepts both cash and cards.
                      • Are you traveling in Standard Premier? A light meal and drink will be served at your seat.
                      • Upgrade to Business Premier and you'll enjoy a gourmet meal prepared for the time of day, as well as a continuous supply of drinks throughout your journey, from tea, coffee and soft drinks to champagne.

                      Amusement

                      Eurostar does not provide an onboard entertainment portal. They do have free WiFi - just go to your WiFi settings and select EurostarTrainsWiFi. A form appears. Fill it in and click 'Connect' to go online.

                      Traveling with children

                      • Children of all ages need their passports to travel on Eurostar
                      • Children under 4 years old travel for free when sitting on an adult's lap, or they can get their own seat with a child ticket. If you are alone with children, you can book assistance in advance so that a Eurostar representative can assist you during your journey
                      • Children under 12 years old must travel with an adult, while children aged 12 to 15 years old can travel alone if they have aunaccompanied minor form

                      Misuse

                      Unfortunately, Eurostar is currently unable to transport your pre-assembled bicycle.                       Guide and assistance dogs can only travel on Eurostar if they are accompanied by their owners. You must book their ticket through Eurostar at least 48 hours in advanceContact Form. When traveling with your guide dog, please bring the following:

                      • Your passport and Eurostar ticket

                      • Valid rabies vaccination
                      • Animal health certificate
                      • A copy of your confirmation email or case reference number.

                      We advise you to be at the station at least 75 minutes in advance.

                      Special Assistance

                      • Complete this form to receive special assistance on EurostarContact Format least 48 hours before your trip so that they can assist you

                      Luggage

                      There are luggage racks near the entrance doors or in the spaces between the backrests or on the rack above your seat.

                      Although there is no weight limit for your luggage, you must be able to transport your bags safely.

                      Their luggage policy includes 2 pieces of luggage/suitcases with a maximum size of 75 x 53 x 30 cm (29.5 x 20.8 x 11.8 in) and 1 cabin bag.

                      You can also take special items on board, such as musical instruments. However, they must be less than 2 meters in length.

                      You can visit the Thalys Welcome Bar, where you can choose from a wide range of hot and cold drinks and sweet and savory snacks.

                      You can also order food and drinks in advance via your smartphone, tablet or laptop and pick them up at the welcome bar.

                      Premium class food

                      You will enjoy a complimentary meal served directly to your seat.

                      The Thalys menu was designed by Belgian chef Frank Fol. Meals are served for any international journey longer than 50 minutes.

                      Amusement

                      Once you've found your seat and settled in, you can connect to the free WiFi and chat with your friends, catch up on work, or catch up on your favorite TV show. To ensure that your devices do not lose power, you can plug it into the sockets on your seat.

                      Traveling with children

                      Thalys makes it easy to take your little ones on a train journey. Children under the age of 4 travel for free without a ticket, provided they sit on your lap. Children between 4 and 12 years old can get a discount on the ticket price.

                      In wagons 7, 17 and 27 of the Thalys trains you will also find changing rooms, a washbasin and a bottle warmer.

                      Pushchairs are allowed on board free of charge, but must be folded and stowed in the luggage racks of the carriage you are in before boarding.

                      Thalys accepts a small number of non-folding bicycles on board, but both wheels must be removed and the entire bicycle must be covered in a sturdy container with a maximum size of 135 x 85 x 30 cm (53.1 x 33.4 x 11, 5cm). 8 inches).                       If you need help getting on or off the train, please contact Thalys directly before your journey. Wheelchairs can be transported as long as they are no larger than:

                      Luggage

                      When traveling with SNCB, each passenger is allowed to take 3 items on board, provided that the total weight does not exceed 30 kg (66.1 pounds). Once you have found your seat, you can store your luggage in the designated space above and below your seat. You can take the following luggage on board free of charge:

                      • Briefcases, backpacks and suitcases
                      • Wheelchairs (manual or automatic)
                      • Strollers and prams
                      • Folding bicycles, unicycles, scooters
                      • Sports equipment (e.g. skis)

                      Food and drink

                      Currently, the NMBS does not offer food and drinks. However, you are welcome to bring food and drinks with you to enjoy on the train.

                      Amusement

                      NMBS offers free WiFi at their main stations, including Brussels Central, Bruges, Antwerp Central and more. Currently, NMBS does not offer Wi-Fi on board their trains.

                      Traveling with children

                      As long as they are traveling with a person aged 12 or over with a valid ticket, children under 12 can travel for free without a ticket. Please note, however, that this only applies to a maximum of 4 children per passenger with a valid ticket. If additional children are traveling, they must have a half-price child ticket.

                      Misuse

                      Are you hoping to travel with your bike? You must add a bicycle supplement to your ticket. But if you travel with a folding bike, you don't have to worry about payment. You pay a bicycle allowance on top of your train ticket and costs € 4 for a single journey.

                      When boarding, speak to the conductor and they will tell you if there are seats available and where to park your bike. SNCB advises you not to travel by bicycle during peak hours, as there may not be any bicycle spaces available then.

                      Pet

                      Guide and assistance dogs

                      Travel is free for guide and assistance dogs. You don't need to add a pet fee to your ticket.

                      Pet

                      Pets are welcome on SNCB trains, provided they are kept on a leash or kept in a small basket, cage or box. For leashed animals, a pet supplement costs € 3 for a single journey. If your pet is in a small basket, cage, or box that is less than 30 x 55 x 30 cm (11.8 x 21.6 x 11.8 in), you do not have to pay a pet fee. Finally, your pet is not allowed to sit on the chairs or tables.

                      Special Assistance

                      Passengers with reduced mobility must contact the NMBS directly to make use of their free assistance service. You can take your wheelchair on the train for free, regardless of whether or not you use the free assistance service of the NMBS. If you are blind or partially sighted, you can travel by train in 2nd class for free.

                      Luggage

                      There are no weight limits on NS trains, as long as you can carry your bags yourself.

                      Food and drink

                      There is no catering on NS trains.

                      Amusement

                      Most of the NS Intercity trains have free WiFi on board. If WiFi is available on your train, you must connect to the 'WiFi in the train' network to get online.

                      Traveling with children

                      Children under the age of 4 travel for free on NS trains. Children between 4 and 11 years old can get a 'Railrunner' ticket, €2.50 per day, which gives them unlimited travel.

                      Misuse

                      Outside the rush hour (from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and after 6:00 pm), on weekends, public holidays and during the summer months, you can take your bicycle on the NS trains. Bicycles must be placed in the designated parking facilities. You can find this by looking for a bicycle symbol on the side of the car. Folding bicycles can be transported as normal luggage.

                      Pet

                      Small pets are allowed on board, provided they are carried on your lap or in a suitable carrier. Guide dogs are also allowed on board, but must be recognizable as a guide dog or other assistance dog. Larger dogs can travel on NS trains as long as they wear a muzzle and are kept on a leash. You must also purchase a dog train ticket.

                      Special Assistance

                      If you need help getting in and out of the train, you can book NS Travel Assistance. This service is available 7 days a week. You indicate the assistance you need in your online NS account and reserve assistance on the NS website, in the NS app or by calling (+31) 30 235 78 22.
